At the end of a soft lights journey that remind the acclimatization areas for working in the dark, you open to the outside illumination, in the light of knowledge, drawing on the varied archival heritage of the Museum structured as follow:

  • 20,000 images among negatives and positives photographic, proposed on different supports, from emulsified glasses of the early period of 1900, films in photographic paper; archive entirely digitized and available for consultation on site upon reservation;
  • 1,000 volumes from the factory bibliographic collection, history, science and technique of the photosensitive from 1920 to the 70’s, Ferrania magazine, manuals, essays, books of photography and cinema and much more available for consultation on site;
  • 120 hours of digitized 8 mm/Super 8 and 16 mm amateur movies;
  • 10,000 personnel files dating back to the period of company activity, from 1919 to 2009 year of closing;
  • Ferrania/3M advertising archive;
  • Urban/architectural archive of the factory;
  • Technical drawings archive of the former partner Pathé Frères.
