In a suggestive lateral extension of Palazzo Scarampi, the Museum site, part of the archives, warehouses of stock and restoration are located. The premises, which cover an area of approximately 120 square meters, include 3 thematic rooms divided as follows:

  • archive of drawings and projects related to urban/architectural for industrial site and workers’ village;
  • archive of personnel files;
  • film archive of cinematic trailers in 35 mm;
  • press and development workshop under construction;
  • “Cinema Mignon” room, the smallest cinema in the world with screenings in reduced formats and a cinema-themed exhibition of 35 mm film projectors;
  • restoration laboratory of artifacts and an exhibition of large machinery related to the production cycle (extruder Rep. A, film axis, hospital X-Ray developers and so on).

 

Visits to this area of the Museum are allowed only for small groups upon reservation or on days dedicated to “open archives”.
